TPE #114 again

Had to get in just one more card for this challenge before the deadline tonight -- Paper piecing and Greeting Farm just go together!

This card is based on Sketch #10 found in the Greeting Farm gallery and uses one of their images, Sk8r Ian.  It seemed the perfect sketch for a pocket to hold a gift card.  I paper pieced Ian's shirt using the same yellow and striped American Crafts papers that are used for the card.  Love how this adds consistency.  These papers are patterned on one side and a solid color on the other so 2 sheets made the entire card with plenty of scraps leftover for a few more.  Gotta love it when things are that easy to match! Everything was too clean at the start, so I grunged it all up by distressing edges, inking, and adding some subtle background images with stamps from Hero Arts.

... and the credit goes to...
The Greeting Farm - sk8r Ian image
Hero Arts - envelope pattern and dandelion frame stamps
Taylored Expressions - sentiment from You're my Hero set
American Crafts - all paper
Image colored with copics, distress inks for grunge
