LMM#16, Lily Pad resist

While sitting at the computer will never replace the fun of stamping for me, I recently have found some digital images that I love and couldn't pass up. Digital images are easy to purchase online and often the files come within a few minutes... great for when you are so excited to play and don't want to wait for products to be mailed. The "Hatter" girls on this card are from Little Miss Muffet stamps and the card was made to play along with both their "multiple images" challenge, and the resist technique challenge from Lily Pad.

The resist background is stamped and heat embossed on watercolor paper, then colored with new Ranger Distress Stains (like using the ink pads, but quicker for this technique... and messier- messy is always more fun). It is a matchbook style card and some elements are attached with foam dots for dimension.

...and the credit goes to:
Impression Obsession - flourish background and sentiment stamps
Little Miss Muffet Stamps - 3 "Hatter" girls digital stamps
Spellbinders - lacy circles die
Images colored with Prismacolor pencils blended with gamasol / background Distress Stains in spiced marmalade, faded jeans, and broken china.
